Islamabad: In order to fulfill the city’s increasing housing demand and guarantee the timely delivery of finished plots to allottees, the Capital building Authority (CDA) has announced plans to accelerate the building of eight residential sectors in Islamabad.

Key Focus on Sector C-14
Sector C-14 emerges as a significant milestone in CDA’s development plans. With over 200 one-kanal plots successfully auctioned, the sector has already generated an impressive revenue of more than Rs12 billion. Plot owners will receive possession upon completing their final installment, ensuring a seamless transition into Islamabad’s rapidly expanding residential landscape.
- Development Progress:
- Road infrastructure: 85% complete
- Drainage and sewerage systems: 35% complete

Development Updates Across Other Sectors
During a high-level meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, progress was reviewed for several other sectors, including:
- Sector I-12: 78% of the development work is complete, bringing it close to completion.
- Sectors E-12/2 and E-12/1: Significant progress achieved, though challenges related to Built-Up Property (BUP) remain under deliberation.
- Sectors C-15, C-16, C-13, D-13, E-13, and F-13: Development hurdles are actively being addressed by CDA’s Engineering and State Wings, with site visits planned by the Chairman to accelerate resolutions.
Affordable Installment Plans
CDA’s innovative installment plans, such as for Sector C-14, where plots are priced at Rs60 million each, payable over nine months, make homeownership more accessible. These efforts are expected to not only provide to Islamabad’s growing housing needs but also contribute significantly to CDA’s revenue generation.
