Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is set to introduce an Online Building Plan Approval System, accessible via a dedicated web portal and an upcoming super app. This digital platform will simplify the approval process for residential and commercial building plans and designs, enabling citizens to submit and track their applications with real-time updates from anywhere in the world. The announcement was made during a meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, where Nauman Khalid, head of Technology and Digitalisation, provided a detailed briefing on the system.

In addition to the building plan approval process, the CDA is launching a Super App that will integrate over 150 civic management services, including property management, complaint registration, and utility services. This app aims to provide Islamabad residents with a one-stop solution for online house approval of house design plans and approval, greatly increasing the convenience and efficiency of accessing municipal services.
