Islamabad: The Prime Minister has directed the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training to launch a new bus service called “No Fare No Barrier” known as Islamabad Pink Bus Service. The initiative is made to boost the education industry and make it easier for female teachers and students to commute on a regular basis. As part of this program, 20 pink buses will run on designated routes throughout Islamabad to make the travel from rural to urban areas easier.

Islamabad Pink Bus Service Timing
The Islamabad Pink Bus Service operates on a convenient schedule designed to accommodate daily commuters. Morning services run from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, providing an early start for those heading to work or school. In the afternoon, the buses run from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM, ensuring passengers have reliable transportation during peak travel times. This service aims to offer efficient and timely travel options for female teachers and students, enhancing the female public transportation system in Islamabad.
Below is the designated route of the buses:
- Route 1-A: Nilore to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS
- Route 1-B: Nilore (Ziarat Stop) to Secretariat
- Route 2-A: Bhara Kau to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS (via F-6)
- Route 2-B: Bhara Kau to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS (via G-6)
- Route 3-A: Humak to Secretariat
- Route 3-B: Humak to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS
- Route 4-A: I-14 (IJP Road) to Secretariat
- Route 4-B: I-14 (IJP Road) to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS
- Route 5-A: B-17 to Secretariat (via Margalla Avenue)
- Route 5-B: B-17 to Secretariat (via GT Road, G-14)
