Islamabad: The ever-loved Monal of Islamabad, located in the picturesque Margalla Hills has been officially demolished. An era has come to an end for one of Islamabad’s most recognizable restaurants, which had been shuttered for some time, and has finally been demolished and removed from its breathtaking place.

The restaurant has been closed after the order of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. According to the order, all restaurants operating within national parks must close as well.
The order mandated the complete removal of all restaurants within the park within three months, emphasizing the incompatibility of commercial activities with the preservation of the national park’s ecological integrity, leading to the eventual closure of Monal.
The memories and cherished moments that Monal gave to people will forever remain! The restaurant’s stunning panoramic views of Islamabad, coupled with its delectable cuisine and elegant ambiance, created a truly unforgettable experience.
