The State Bank of Pakistan reports that Pakistan rice exports increased significantly from the five-year average of $2.31 billion, rising from $2.11 billion the year before. Pakistan now has an opportunity to overtake India as the world’s top rice exporter this year because to India’s export limits, which were put in place to stabilize local prices before elections.

Moreover, Pakistan’s overall goods exports reached $31.09 billion, a noteworthy 11.5% rise from the previous year, largely due to this surge in rice transport. The food industry, particularly exports of rice, are vital to this expansion.
