Multiworks, Islamabad: We’re excited to dive into the intricacies of private housing schemes regulated by the Capital Development Authority (CDA). The CDA Ordinance of 1960, alongside the ICT (Zoning) Regulations of 1992, provides the legal framework for overseeing the planning and development of these societies.
Under Section 51 of the Capital Development Authority Ordinance 1960, the CDA has set forth regulations governing the planning and development of private housing, farm housing, apartment, and commercial projects in Zones II, IV, and V of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), as per the 2023 amendments to the ICT Zoning Regulations 1992.
The approval process for private housing schemes involves two tiers. Firstly, the CDA grants technical approval for the Layout Plan (LOP) of the scheme. Following this, upon completion of the necessary formalities, the CDA issues No Objection Certificates (NOC) for the development of the scheme. Once sponsors obtain the NOC, they can commence development work and plot sales. Applications for NOC should be directed to the Director of Municipal Administration, CDA Islamabad. Following is an extensive list of all the societies under the CDA jurisdiction.

Its LOP is cancelled and NOC is Not issued by CDA.

Phase-II has successfully obtained LOP Approved and NOC Issued from CDA.
