ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently visited the Margalla Enclave Housing Scheme to inspect the ongoing development work before the balloting of residential plots. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Defence Housing Authority (DHA) have partnered to develop this project, which aims to offer modern living facilities in a prime location of Islamabad.
DHA is constructing the scheme on 10,000 kanal of land, while CDA will receive 55% of the developed plots, and DHA will retain 45%.

Margalla Enclave Housing Scheme: Development Updates & Progress
During the visit, Naqvi advised officials to speed up construction and meet strict deadlines. He set August 14, 2025, as the target for completing 50% of the work and December 31, 2025, for full completion. Once the project finishes, officials will hand over plots to owners without delay.
Additionally, Naqvi instructed the development team to build a new access road to ensure smooth connectivity. He underlined that the trip time from the Prime Minister’s residence should not be more than five minutes. He also ordered the removal of advances on roads leading to the housing society to prevent future congestion.
