Parks in Islamabad: CDA to Upgrade ISB Parks, Industrial Zones

Islamabad: According to a news published on July 29, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, the chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), visited various locations to promote industrialization, improve recreational spaces especially upgrading parks in Islamabad, and maintain Islamabad’s natural beauty.

As per details, at the Industrial Triangle Kahota, Chairman Randhawa stressed the need for cutting-edge development and facilities for industrialists. He called for closure of exploitation and the provision of specialized facilities for the IT and telecom sectors. He promoted allottees of industrial plots to build their industries without delay.

During his visit to the Diplomatic Enclave, Chairman Randhawa evaluated ongoing uplift projects and recommended that landscaping be done in a cohesive pattern to retain its aesthetic appeal. He also urged for the prompt completion of minor construction and repair work.

He also underlined the significance of finishing landscaping in the surrounding parks in Islamabad and green spaces. He proposed landscaping improvements of Parks in Islamabad and specifically designated Ankara Park for landscape improvements, as well as the beautification of Rawal Dam Interchange walls and the exhibition of international flags. At Lakeview Park, he oversaw walkway upgrades and ordered for a complete maintenance and beautification plan.

Additionally, the CDA announced a new initiative to promote the relationship between nations and nature by inviting ambassadors from different nations to take part in the Margalla Hills Plantation Campaign. This project was directed by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
